Manado International School (MIS) is a private christian institution which provides quality education from Kindergarten age (K1) all the way through to Senior High School (Grade 12). All sections of MIS; Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle and High School are accredited by Badan Akreditasi Sekolah Nasional (BASNAS) with an "A" classification and MIS has been categorized by the Indonesian Ministry of Education as a National School with an International Standard.

Although MIS mainly serves the Indonesian community, a variety of other countries are represented in the student body. MIS fully intends to be accredited by both the Association of Christian Schools International (ASCI) based in Colorado Springs, the United States and the Council of International Schools (CIS) based in the United Kingdom.
